However, the process of completing the network still has many obstacles, requiring Hanoi city to take strong and synchronous measures.

According to Hanoi's industrial cluster development plan, by 2030, the city will have 159 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​more than 3,204 hectares. Besides the industrial clusters that have come into operation effectively, Hanoi is stepping up to remove difficulties and speed up the construction of new industrial clusters to meet demand.

A representative of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade said that there are 70 industrial clusters in operation in the city, with a total planning area of ​​1,686 hectares. In which, an area of ​​1,392 hectares has been invested in infrastructure, put into stable operation, attracted nearly 3,900 households and businesses to invest in production and business, with more than 60,000 employees, average daily income. about 1.1 trillion VND per year. . To solve the difficulties and problems of production and business units in the area, thousands of jobs have been created, people's incomes and lives are improved, and socio-economic development is promoted.

It is worth mentioning that the occupancy rate of these industrial clusters is very high, almost reaching 100% of the area. However, economic development and rapid urbanization keep the demand for industrial production sites at a high level. In 2018 - 2020, Hanoi decided to establish 43 new industrial clusters to promptly meet this demand, but due to many objective and subjective reasons, the city has only started construction of 7 industrial clusters so far. including: Dai Thang, Phu Tuc (Phu Xuyen district), Di Nau (Thach That district), Thang Loi, Tien Phong (Thuong Tin district), Dan Phuong phase 2 (Dan Phuong district) and Vong Xuyen (Phuc Tho district).

Many knots need to be solved

Despite great efforts, the progress of industrial cluster construction in Hanoi is still very slow compared to the plan and requirements. Due to overlapping regulations, procedures and permits, related to many industries and fields, the investment in the construction of new industrial clusters faces many difficulties and obstacles.

The units try their best to create favorable conditions for investors during the project implementation, shorten at least 50% of the time to handle administrative procedures, urge investors to complete the procedures. continue to start the industrial cluster according to the schedule registered with the Ministry. City People's Committee.

Hanoi's goal of building a network of 159 industrial clusters by 2030 still has many "bottlenecks" that need to be quickly resolved.
